At Moga Primary School:
We insist on:

• Home-cooked high quality food
• Convenience and processed products
A good diet is vital to the physical and mental development of children. Our Healthy Eating programme ensures pupils receive a nutritious, well balanced meal.
Diet plays a major role in increasing levels of concentration and behaviour. We ensure that food is fun as well as part of the educational process.
We take our responsibilities for high standards of hygiene and food safety seriously, our kitchen staff is sent on regular training and is being supervised by a senior staff with Food Hygiene certificate.
A dorm mother sleeps in with the children to attend to emergencies and needs in the night in each dorm. These ladies are well trained in child welfare, first aid as an on-going process.
The School is supported by a full-time nursing staff 24 hours. The school is equipped with a complete sickbay and medical records are kept on each pupil. In addition the majority of teachers have first-aid certification.
Girls are free to have their hair in any style that is hygienic and can be managed by themselves and dorm mothers.
